Slagsloth Take 2 ( WIP )

Hey all,

So, Its been a long time since I had the chance to work on my Model I call Slagsloth. I started working on it before Z3 came out. Now that I have had the chance to try out the new software, this is what I have done.

All comments and feedback are greatly welcomed.

Really weird monster, I like it!

Hey everyone,

So, I am heading off to bed and just thought I would post my long days work. I just started texturing my character SlagSloth. This is the first time I have textured in ZBrush, or any texturing for that matter! I used Z3’s Polypainting method.

I would love to hear some feedback! Like I said this is a first for Texturing and for using Z3 for Texturing. For some reason all of my years of painting lead miniatures from AD&D and Warhammer seemed to just come right back to me. If only I could have painted them this easily.

Again, any and all feedback is greatly appreciated.

Sincerely CC909

So, I just thought that I would try and post a movie file of my character in a turntable.

Any Feedback?

Ok, So I am almost completed my texturing of my character and would love some feedback. Are there any areas were I can improve the painting / Texturing

Hey cc909,great model!
The polypainting looks cool ,I could only add that maybe some variations with a spot brush low opacity could break the texture up a little . Yellows and browns?..It seems a little consistant in green .
The model I really like, but the head inbetween the horns throws me.I feel the creature works very well untill looking at the top head. Its just my own opinion that if the two connectors to the head were horns or tenticles(or like) may work better for a more belivable model.Dont get me wrong ,I like it but thats just my thoughts.IIts hard to imagine all the needed parts connecting the top head to body to all being housed through the horns. You have some really nice flows to the body form.Overall well balanced and set out.

Great imagination,
