Skull Sculpt

This is a finished work of a skull i’ve been practicing on which i got help on from a tut by house of tutorials, the material is from http://www.pixolator.com/zbc/showthread.php?t=056692 and a very good one it is, any comments are welcome.

I don’t think the softness of the sculpt really works with the sharpness of the cracks. You could soften the cracks, but I think it’d be better if you sharpened the other edges instead.

the overall shape looks good, but you need to push the openings much farther in, especially the eye sockets. keep going with this

Heres an update, i just cleaned up the model and sharpened the edges.

look at some skull references when you sculpt this. the layout of the bone structure isnt quite right. the frontal protrudes out a little too much, and the zygomatic bone and arch need more definition and deeper cavitys around them. the parietal bone on the back needs to be more round, as that is probably the roundest part of your skull. just find some good references and drop down a few subdivision levels and reworks those forms. i would suggest downloading some of the bone materials that are posted in top row area. keep it up
