This is low polygon (~250poly) model with normalmap.
Lowpoly was made in maya then exported to zb then reimported and rendered with maya.
This work is still inprogress. Hope to hear your C&C.

This is looking really good, the normal map transfered really well. Would it be possible to post you’re UV layout? I’m learning normal maps myself and it would really help me to see a good layout example.

looks cool, but have you put an itteration on your model when you’ve put your disp map on it in maya? looks like it needs one more if so.

I don’t use displacement map. It is a normal map on 250 poly mesh.

Because I do it without any reference, so my progress is very slooow.

Yeah looking at your Zbrush render it still looks to me as if you need to put another itteration on your maya model after apply your normal map.

I could explain it simply if you were using max, any maya uses know what i mean? the equivalent of putting turbosmooth on?

Looks great, are you going to texture it too, I think that’ll really sell it :), and maybe a body :slight_smile: and an environment, and maybe five other guys :slight_smile: jk great work thanks for showing us your UV layout.

I wanna keep the polycount under 3000 for the full body, because this is for realtime engine.
