sketchup .obj file low poly in z brush

Hello,

I got problem with z brush.

I make model in sketch up than i export it as .obj and wanna edit and scupult it in Zbrush, but when I import .obj file to zbrush it is in verry low poly count, and I allmost cant scuplt it…

I try divide (shift-d) but this dosent works, only make deformations and is useless…

my question is, how can I add more hi-poly to .obj model imported from sketch up???

(sorry for my english is not my first language)

The first thing I would do is turn OFF smooth when you divide. Next I would polygroup the various elements and then CREASE the polygroups. This will keep the model/mesh from deforming.
