Sketching lately

Well long time no see all. Been working hard to pick up my own pieces of life. In the process, I have decided to work on my BFA. So I have picked up a skechpad. Somehting I really have never done. Made some sketchs over the past few days (if not weeks…time flys when you are busy). Just thought I would show them to you all. Want to model this and give them the whole from sketch to final model treatment. Don’t know when that will happen but at least they are out of my head and on the burner.
The eye is something me and a friend decided to Start. Either HomeGrown Studios or HomeGrown Labs.

Very nice… I like the one with the eye and the alien the best. do you sketch these digital in something like Sketchbook pro? Or do you sketch them in real life

Real life. Nothing Like presketching, erasing, sketching, refining, shading, then inking. Also, I would do it digitally but I want a bigger tablet to do so. There is also the fact that my pad is portable and not my desktop. Might change if I got my hands on a tasty laptop.

Flippin heck, not bad mtb, not bad at all, just out of curiosity, whats a BFA, in uni talk down here its a Bachelor of fine arts.
