Sketchbook Part 2

i was inspired to do a zbrush render, Idk why, just wanted to get away from maya for a bit.

zbrush internal and photoshop:

NICE ONE! (you could still add a bit contrast with your lighting which would make it pop out…the background dominates the foreground character…Just a thought;))

just another photoshop test.

playing around with the idea of a background. the image is just a test, and represents in no way the final product

Did some layer play with the shy characters face:

Love the proportions!!!
This cartoons are looking great!!
Really nice balance between cartoon and realistic anatomy.
congrats

thanks man I appreciate it

I’m in issue 28 of 3D artists. Check it out

Finals are done and I ended the semester in a pretty good shape. I won the Illustration excellence award, and I got a job teaching 3D design to teens. So I’m trucking along haha.

I’m doing a sculpture of one of my favorite heroes. I have a lot unfinished in my portfolio and Im okay with that, for now I’m just getting my hand back after taking a two week hiatus for the program.

adjusted the line of action:

This looks like it’ll be something cool. I’m really liking the look of the anatomy so far.

Update, blocked in a face, didn’t really have a lot of time to work on this today.

granted with a reference I could have arrived here a lot quicker, but I wanted to test what I know. this sketchbook is made for me to learn and I’m growing everyday!

very nice study!
But he got an 8 pack. you got one row of abs to much. and the lower ones dont have a striation down the middle. nice work!
