Sculpted this guys last year before going on holiday… Was really great to watch the film and get to work in this.
Cool work!
excellent sculpt. Love it
love this piece man. Cant stop looking at it. You’ve really captured the feel of the comic book Dredd in this.
couldn’t help noticing your based in London, just wondering if you went to the user group meeting on Thursday?
LeoAMD: Thanks man! Yeah me and my wife were there for awhile. I was saying to a few guys we should start a sketchgroup…
Scott Eaton was inspiring of course. And definitely Paul has opened my eyes again…
And I love this… its the print from Ownage.
i actually “dredd” (pun intended) the movie to be honest, since i was a dredd-fan in my youth and couldn’t get enough of the comics.
The earlier stallone-dredd had little to do with the original.
But your sculpt catches the spirit completely! great stuff there
hope to see you texturing this guy. good work!
PS: had to edit my post after realizing the new movie-dredd isn’t anywhere close to the classic dredd ^^
Yeh I was there also. It was really awesome to see Scott Eaton doing his thing and I loved how he did the concept sculpt for the warhammer space marine.
Unfortunately I couldn’t stay for drinks afterwards but I think that the scetchgroup is a really cool idea.
By the way nice print. When did you get it done? Last time I checked the ownage site was still down.
Excellent this print!
Great print by Ownage! Is Ownage ever going to finish updating their website? Seems as if it’s been taking forever!
Gunnahan: Thanks! Yeah client was specific that it should be the classic version of him. I did like the new Dredd film.
LeoAMD: Thanks! hehe Ownage are still up and running. I think they are just way too busy to finish their site.
Philuxius: Thanks!
Derek Frenzo: Thanks! well I dont know either haha.
Nearly done with this guy. Just need to add a base really. Original concept by Calum Alexander Watt.
Great work!
I like this sculpt!
Model looks amazing! Great job at capturing the gesture of the drawing. Also love the texture pattern you got going on on the clothing, feels really nice and stylized!
FairCat: Thanks!
Philuxius: Thanks!
Jordy Knoop: Hey man! Thanks for the nice words! Glad you like it!
And here is another print!
top-notch work!
Kind regards,
Selwy
Selwy: Thanks a lot! Love your work btw!
