Nice modell. Like the lightning and render.
really great job. perfect for a reference to begin modeling. Do you plan on creating the muscle forms?

Wow. Looks great. I guess you’ve used a real one for the studies.
Looks fantastic!
Best regards, Selwy
Very cool. Did you model this entirely in Zbrush with Zsphere to generate your base mesh or did you use some other modeling program like Modo to do that? I’d love to see some screen shots of your work in progress and maybe even a discussion of some fo the difficulties you overcame in bringing this work to full realization.
really nice renders, the skull looks great. Did you render it in zbrush.
Thanks a lot for all your kind words, I really enjoyed the whole process of modelling bones. I had just finished taking an artistic anatomy class and wanted to solidify what I had learnt by creating my own skeleton. Eventually I’d like to do a whole Ecroche modl, but for now I’m happy with just the skeleton. Reference came from Dr Paul Richers and Elliott Goldfingers plates and images downloaded from 3d.sk. I did not have an actual skeleton on hand but would love to eventually buy one. Feel free to use these images as reference, I will eventually put some higher resolution versions on my site for download.
The base mesh was modelled in Silo then sculpted in Zbrush and finally I downloaded the demo of Modo to try out it’s render capabilities.

Thanks for sharing that with us. Those base meshes are very nice and impressively simple and clean considering the realistic finish you got. I’m downloading all of your jpgs to disk for future reference and archiving.
That looks perfect great skeleton study!
thats awesome
congrats
