Updating my thread here with some new product images. I honestly don’t know if it’s of much interest around here since so much of the work I do is for users of Poser and Daz Studio, and my experience has been kind of negative with the way people look at those apps, but everything I make for those markets is, IMO, just as valid a piece of work as if it were staying in Zbrush, Maya or wherever. Just making the point there and hopefully it won’t start any crap with anyone. Really wanting to do more updating of my thread here, but frankly have just been kind of paranoid about it because of the association with Poser/DS.

Been a while… looks great. I’m actually modeling myself a bit now… making my first ever … Pan… duh, of course I would do the one and only Pan!
Wondering, do you know how to use Transpose at all? I can’t figure out how to get it to work with my original figure… wanted to pose him in ZBrush before I even attempt at rigging in Poser or DAZ Studio. Scary! :eek:
I wanted to buy your ZBrush brush bundle but the images for the main products (unbundled sets) were not showing up, I was getting “image not found” notices so not sure what’s up?
Anyway, hope life is going well.
Were the images for those not showing up on our store? We had a couple problems earlier this month with some php going screwy in our store but that’s all fixed now. BTW: I wouldn’t be stepping on your toes if we released our Satyr/Pan figure would it? Along with a PILE of other stuff, it’s been sitting here for a while just waiting on good product art, the part the drives me nuts the most. I wish like hell I had someone to take care of at least half the product art load, but every time I try to get someone on board for it, they’re too damn slow or they just wander off. Anyway…

Looks great Les… No, I wouldn’t feel like my wittle tows were being stepped on in the least! LOL This is more of a personal project. I’ve taken the last couple of weeks off since the whole transpose thing is a bit daunting for me… I really wish you or someone else would do a ZBrush vid for beginners but covering areas like the plugins that are offered for ZBrush, including Transpose… I know how to sculpt but the rest is a bit beyond me… another thing I haven’t figured out yet is how to properly create a new active layer from the Tools area… seems easy enough but doesn’t seem to work for me.
I’d love to help you out in the art dept but my life is just too crazy and I’d hate to feel the hate from you if I dropped the ball but I WOULD love to see a few renders of him here… Is the mesh hi density, will he look good in DAZ Studio, are his details more natural and typical Pan or did you take him in more of monstrous direction (I’m very partial to starting out with more typical and adding morphs to allow folks to make him more demonic looking or what ever, but that’s just me). Very curious about your creation…

Once I finish up the couple of things on my plate at the moment, I’ll pull him out and shoot some renders up here.
Transpose can be a little weird at first, and since I don’t do much “finished” art in Zbrush, but rather use it is a production tool most of the time, my experience with it may be a bit limited in light of how I think you’re wanting to use it. I don’t think it’s all that complicated though, until you get into using subtools with it, but then there’s Transpose Master for handling that. I 'd like to put together some new videos but can’t promise anything until I get some breathing room in my schedule.

Something I’m hoping to do more of in what little spare time I can get, is putting together sculpts of my favorite comic book characters and using that to explore aspects of ZBrush that my day to day work doesn’t necessarily get into very often. So, here’s the first… Doctor Strange!
