I don’t remember having this issue but I have been away from doing any sculpting for a while and I got my upgrade email so I installed the version 4 R2 as instructed in the email , not removing R4. so I Load it up and then I swipe with the Simple brush and it has not alpha on it. and it is making tons of squares. It doesn’t have the default sphere alpha that it used to have. How do I fix this? And is this normal I don’t think that it is. At least it has never been this way before to my knowledge.
That is a strange problem, I have always had squares with the simple brush but have only had Zbrush since 4.0
Can you change to other alphas?
The Simple Brush has been like that at least from ZBrush 3.5. All you need to do is assign an alpha of your choice.
Major newbie question. How do I assign an alpha?-
Just select one in the Alpha palette.
