Great addition to ZBrush. This took me about an hour using a reference image from the game.
This is looking great! I love the style.

Any tips on getting started like blending the colours?
oh the memories, the quiet hours of the morning, headphones on, and then rustling, a shadow in the corner dragging its limbs… and that breathing, a rasping death rattle. Still sends chills
Great sketch!!!
Tez asked: “Any tips on getting started like blending the colours?”
Here’s a quick art lesson: Always begin by lightly sketching in your subject using loose, quick straight lines. Refine and correct at this stage. Take your time. Then block in DARKS FIRST. This is a must. Then blend out to your midtones and leave or erase or paint in highlights. Add fine details last.
(I used to teach art at the Simi Valley Cultural Center.)
Tez, Thank you. PaintStop has a Smudge Brush which works well. You may want to load a Tracing Image into PaintStop to get started then, play around with the different brushes and colors. I used the No Grain Canvas on this one. Eric has the solution. This is the best way to approach it however, it still requires some basic painting knowledge.
RawSunlight, Thanks. Yes, Silent Hill kept me up all hours of the night playing the game. I have all of them. Silent Hill 4 is my fav.
Thanks for the info, will give it a try.
Silent Hill 3. I have always had a kinda sloppy style but. it works for me. I may work on this a bit more to clean it up but, I’m heading to bed. Later Brushers.
Really fantastic post! Both of them!!!
Well, I love the sloppy style! Great colors too! !
Nice sketches and good choice of subject! I like your ‘sloppy’ style too. Maybe just tighten the last one up slightly on a focal point such as the face and you’re done. Keep posting
