How do I shrink this? If I change the number visible I loose my scene and there is no getting back. What is this called anyways?

This is the Tool palette.

If you press the ‘R’ button to reset the recently accessed tools, this has no effect on the Tools you have loaded. It simply cleans up the menu and removes the quick pick icons. Click on the Tool selector button at the top left at any time to see what Tools are loaded into the scene.
