I saw Joesph Durst CIN expo tutorial where he was showing his jet engine model and talking about his work flow
and he had Key shot running and was sending parts over to Keyshot as he worked to see how they looked there.
What I am wondering about is why he was doing this, was it because his models are intended to be rendered eventually
and he wants to see how they look in a rendering program as he works?
Lets say you were designing jewelry in Zbrush and you wanted to get of course a good visualization of what the model
will look like in metal with colored gems on it, as that is your primary intent for the model. How much of a benefit would
Keyshot be over just looking at the model in Zbrush with a gold material and gem material applied to the model.
I personally like the ability to click over to a really nice “life like” visualization of the model in its actual materials while I sculpt. gold , silver, gemstones, as in jewelry. I have been using Sculptris and will be buying Zbrush. Sculptris works for this ok, except for the one material at a time limitation. I havent tried Zbrush yet so I don’t know how the gold or silver or gem materials will look in it. I am wondering if I should buy the Keyshot bridge and Keyshot bundle? Also does Keyshot come with metal and gem or glass like matrials?
Thanks
