Hi guys, I’m curious is it possible to bind a shortcut key to collapsing or expanding the left and right tray?..For example holding left Shift will expand the left tray otherwise it’ll close automaticly, the same fuction with right Shift corresponding to right tray. It can save the screen space from opening tray all the time and also time to click the divider area.
Vary much appreciated for any answer. Thanks in advance!

You can do it with a macro. Put these files in your ZBrush 4.0/ZStartup/Macros/Misc folder and then restart ZBrush. You’ll then have two buttons in the Macro palette > Misc menu, called RightTray and LeftTray. Ctrl+Alt click on the buttons to create a hotkey of your choice.
Thanks Marcus, but apparently ZBrush doen’t recognize the left/ right Shift press, but still gonna come in handy to have it

No I should have said, you can’t use Shift on its own as a hotkey. You could use Shift in combination with another key. Or assign something like the Home and End keys to the left and right buttons.
