Hi everyone. Been awhile since I posted here on zbc.
I recently took part in the Hardcore modelling challenge 20 for 15 expressions.
So I decided to attempt a realistic character. It was really difficult but I really enjoyed it and learnt a lot. Thanks goes out to those that critted and helped me on the way.
The base mesh was done in maya. But was fully sculpted in zbrush. As were all the expressions. From there I just rendered out highres geometry with normal map applied. I’d usually use displacement but time was running short :). All I can say is thank pixologic for zbrush. Moving one vert at a time for 15 expressions would have made this challenge an absolute nightmare!
