Thank you Ilusiondigital for your skin shader, it helps me a lot. I just have one problem…I realised something…I HATE blue skin
I had some nice results with your shader and skin pictures (3dsk) but as soon as I turned it to blue it was awfull…I think I don’t know how to deal with this stupid blue skin
By the way I did a new render, with the new shader and I added the teeth.

Kyphur : I added a bone in the nose like some Papu have to make it more tribal.But I will keep the captive beads, I like him with it.

Breathing must be hard with that bone sticking through his nose but maybe that explains his skin color Great stuff man, lookin cool. He probably breeths through his mouth anyway.

bad_koala> Either way man the guy is rocking. I think even with the mat work you’re doing on the metals for the piercings now that they’re coming off a lot better. I love the plugs in his ears, wouldn’t mind having some like that. Mine are 5/8’s bone with Maori designs. The tusks are really badass too.

Something that would be cool to add would be some ritual scarification like the Mosai or other tribes of Africa. The scars on his eyes look more like battle wounds than rite of passage scars or other ritual scarification.

Still, it’s a bang up job and I’m really, really enjoying the thread.

I think I will try to add some ritual scarification tonight on the face and body.

You’re work on this guy has inspired me also. I’ll post in a day or so depending on schedule and workflow. I just got the UV’s laid out last night and they still need tweaking some before zbrushin’.

Badko: I agree with you, mate. I really dont like your blue skin , only one suggestion, i think your character need dirty teeths, a light touch of yellow and maybe a teeth broken.

Finally I removed everything and re-start form scratch.
I re-work the textures, changed the shaders, added new lights, I deleted my latest division of my Ztool and I re-work the details (still WIP).

I would keep working on the blue skin…the green is a little too Orcish for me. Good luck with it…the modeling and detail is very cool.

I will call this one the cursed one, since I started this troll my screen died, my wacom acts funny and I got a cold
I found some time this week-end to buy a new screen (smaller sigh sigh…) and to continue working on it.
It’s not finished but I will take a break and go back on this one later. I feel like I want to do some different stuff and do some 2d work now.

I’d say this model is finnished. Maybe the only thing still to do on it is his stuff, like weapons or something, if you even want to do that sort of thing. This by the way is one of my favorites on the forum at the moment.
