HI! I m trying to do some hard surface modeling using shadowbox. the neck piece ( see image ) was made using shadowbox. to add more parts to the neck piece and to have it as reference for size i basically duplicated it ( ctrl + shift + D ) and pressed shadowbox. This was done so that the shadowbox created takes the size of the neck piece which would help me go in and do new masking to create smaller parts. However when I press shadowbox i get a new shadowbox that is smaller than the subtool used to create it and some parts of the subtool are simply cropped out of it. is there some way i could create shadowboxes that closely match the subtool used to create them in terms of size? plz help. hope my question made sense, it is a bit difficult to explain…
