Upon attempting to make a detailed mask using the Mask Pen tool with the Curve stroke type, I end up with a greatly annoying and unintended result:

Is there a way to get a more…ideal result…from using the curve tools? Upon further experimentation I found that I got the same result from the Mask Curve tool as well. I’m thinking it may have something to do with the curve being “open” or something except I can’t really figure out a way to “close” a curve in the first place.
