Shader with SSS?

using 4R7

I’ve been watching tutorials on BPR Rendering using sss but the tutorials point to a shader that I can not find in any of the default materials, a shader with sss.

I took a screen grab from a Youtube tutorial of what it should look like:

sss_shader.PNG

Is this perhaps from an older version, or is the sss colour etc controlled in some other way, I’ll be eternally grateful if someone could tell me?

That should be Treshaders but you can use doublesh., 3sh. or 4shaders mat
It’s basically mixing more shaders in one material and you can turn some shaders on/off, so QuadShaders mat with only 2 shaders on = doubleshader

Here is some old sample of my experimenting with zbrush sss as I was surprised with results of renders with just skin shd. and softening shadows…
It’s a screengrab, not render
Left half - just sss, right sss + skin shad. (maybe little modified). No painting or textures except low polypainted eyes, hair have burned hair mat. so it’s not affected.

Don’t except too match if you’r looking for some realistic results. And even with more serious renderers and their skin/sss materials it’s 10-20% material, rest “hand job” and post;)
