Setting/Resetting Pivot Points

Hey everyone!

I’m having a trouble setting a pivot point. For example, say I want to sculpt the hand, and I want ot to be mirrored to the other hand. I really want to set a pivot point around the hand, or navigating around it is a pain.

I tried to use the ctrl+P but I can’t seem to get it to work.

it seems pivot point dont work in this release :cry: ctrl+p is connected to the lighting setup and the s-pivot is a dead button at the moment.

s-pivot works fine, you just need to mask your area first

but if I want symmetry, I can’t really mask the other side of the model to set the pivot. If I mask it, won’t it only work on the part I havn’t masked?

For exmple. Say I’m working on a hand on the right. If I hide/mask everything but that hand it will no longer mirror what I’m doing on the right side to the left.

Model one hand and then do smart resym.
