Set Up Cintiq ExpressKeys for ZBrush

I just took the plunge and bought a Cintiq 21UX. I’m experimenting with setting up the express keys for use with ZB4. I was wondering if any of the more experienced people in the community have favorite set-ups they might be willing to share.

I would be interested in this one myself. with all the alt, shift click and combination in zbrush4
I’m finding it very hard to get use to even the most simplest
things…I had no problem doing this with a mouse and key board and not to much trouble with a 9x12 int 3, but the cintiq for some reason is hard to get a handle on.

So far, I’ve set up my Cintiq like this:

Right Side: Left Side:
Express Key Shift D
Ctrl X
Alt A
T S
Q ^Z
W ^N
R
E Display Toggle
Touch Strip: #3 = Draw Size

I have my pen set up with the lower button for Alt and the upper for Ctrl. Having Alt and Ctrl on the pen and the Express Key makes it easy to do, for example, an Alt-Ctrl for unmasking. My objective is to set up the Cintiq so I don’t need to go to my laptop keyboard.

I’m still experimenting, but that’s where I am right now. Hope that helps.

I’m afraid when I submitted the post, my columns were destroyed. So, the Express Keys on the right, top to bottom, are shift, ctrl, alt, t, q, w, r, e. Express Keys on the left, top to bottom, are d, x, a ,s, ^z. ^n, blank, and Display Toggle.

I have the older model of an cintiq it doesn’t have the additional buttons
just the touch strip and the 5 keys!
i have the first four mapped as you do, it’s default as far as I know
I use the bottom button for undo, may change that.
as for the pen buttons I have them as default right now as well
much of it is just trying to get the brain to sink with the combination
of clicking releasing and dragging.
thanks for the input will have to play around with it
