Set the image in the middle of an object

Hi guys!

I’m totally new here and I have a small problem.

Can anyone explain me how I can set the image in the middle of an object?
As is show in the tutorial:

I will be very grateful for your help, once I did that, but probably by accident.

I think that is probably just a plane added as a subtool but it really is easier using the grids for image reference. There’s a lot of possibilities for arranging the images and you can set the Elv (Elevation) slider in the Draw palette to 0 to get the grid to go through the middle.

You can read more about the grids and reference images here:
http://docs.pixologic.com/user-guide/3d-modeling/reference-images/grids/

And here’s a sample grid:

Fish.jpg

Download:

  1. Download the file to your Desktop.
  2. Unzip it by double-clicking.
  3. In ZBrush load the DefaultDynaWax project from Lightbox.
  4. To load the grid file, in the Draw palette press the Open button and then select the Fish-Grid.zgr file that you just unzipped.

Oh, that works perfectly!

Thank you for the file and help

I have a lot to learn about possibilities in Zbrush.
