Selling Digital Art

This may have been asked, but to be honest I was in a hurry and didn’t do a search first (my bad). Is there a site that is similar to deviantart but not as overwhelmed by so much spam art? I have some pieces I would like to sell but I do not have the resources to have them printed, mounted and do not mind taking a huge hit in profits…I would just like to sell some of my stuff. I haven’t got a web page nor a blog (haven’t got time for that…barely have time for art stuff:D). I looked at deviantart and stuff just gets spammed away in moments and I haven’t really found anyone who has said they’ve actually sold anything on there (I might be wrong but my search turned up little).

Just curious.

Thanks!!

Guess there aren’t any:D

You should try again later…when you have time.

I am not sure what that means. Deviant art is constantly spammed. I thought with the user base of zbrush there would be someone who might offer a suggestion. With everyone jumping on that offer for messiah I think my message got overlooked.

I did forget to mention that the art I wanted to try and sell was traditional art, well traditional from a standpoint that it wasn’t mostly 3d.

Thanks for taking the time to reply…at least SOMEONE did .

There’s an artist I follow who has his work here, seems very similar to the DA store model. No clue how much success he has w/ it…

If you ever have the resources to sell your work, gicleé canvas that’s ready to hang is a far easier sell than a print on paper, plus you make more $

Thanks for the info, I will check that link. I’ve started to get in touch with some of the local small galleries in my area (there are very few but they are eclectic, which is a good thing).

And thanks for the tip about the material as well…I would have likely chosen the paper route :angry:small_orange_diamond:D
