Self Portrait challenge

Have’nt added myself yet, but just like to say this is a brilliant thread you started Mark. And its good to get an idea of what everybody looks like. One question wheres all the Female artists? Maybe I’ll have to model myself in Drag, and offset the sexual balance. After all I can’t do myself depicted as Pan, as I was planning. Not now that silvaticus, has posted a beautiful sculpt of himself.

I could go into a true story here of the time 15 years ago one moonlit October night I shared a Joint with Pan on a midnight walk into the woods.
But some will probrably doubt my sanity:laughing:

Anyway everyones work here is great. And I will post my illustrated Mug soon.

If I can get over My ZB3 Limbo, whilst wating for the release:confused:

Well Ed you will have an extension of the job with me:D

Silvaticus what a great sculpting work have you done in yourself!

panstar I cant imagine what could be your surprise to us:D

real cool post Silvaticus, i like the expression of your character :+1:

Ed the atom  That’s actually is a great likeness - very clever and a touch spooky of you.

silvaticus, it’s clear that the spring is here as your lechorous gaze indicates your sap is rising - your even growing leaves out of your ear, you beast you.

A real pleasure watching the thread take shape.

Just trying to keep this thread alive. Seems monsters are easier:)
If I looked like this, then this would be my self portrait…

YESffff.jpg

Yes indeed a superb likeness of what you’d look like if this looked liked you

There’s a hush fallen over the forum as people have fallen into a pre-release coma and wonderlust for ZBv3.If you put you ear to your monitor you can just about make out the sound of thousands of people breathing shallowly. The tension in some has built to a degree that muscles have atrophied and brain tissue has begun to crystalize - or like the eye of Sauron all is focused at the output of ye beta testers who be testin’ ‘n showin’ a myriad of fancy-pants models beyond the ken of mere mortals that appear to be made from an other wordly wax/chocolate composite.

I will have something for this forum, I promise, I just have to find the correct ortographic photos of myself in order to get it right. So, its coming, I promise.

all these posts show how the range of the 3d artists that come to the forum and display their skill is simply outstanding, great thread. congrats folks. very, very cool. :+1:

Very Nice head model royalwin. The hair on the chin looks very realistic. So far so good. I hope to put one up soon.

Wonderful work posted recently:+1: . I wish I could be bothered with the time it takes to texture… me I’d rather be tortured to death.

Heh heh … I’ve got the same face-fuzz as everyone else. So here I am, sans follicles.

Wow this thread goes slow sometimes but other times it really pops fast. Silvaticus that is a killer sculpt. Very nice style on it and expression. All you need are some grapes hehe.

LOL Ed great portrait. As Boozy said …

Pan thats a very well realized portrait. You were trying for realism? Omg the eyes! /e starts looking around for garlic. :+1:

Hah Mario wake up!

Royalwin, the basic sculpt is killer there and your texture is also. It really brings things to life but I think you have the same problems sculpting hair as I do. Other than that I can say this is a great model. :+1:

Moochie I havent seen anything from you in a long time and glad you are back. That’s a very strong sculpt and the texture not far away from being easily obtained. Great detail work! Just curious though why no follicles!?

Hey theres cool pictures here! Im hesitant to post now.

:o

It’s me for another attempt - this time I’ve introduced some sophisticated modeling:lol:

Look away now if your feeling poorly.

Boozy…your latest piece inspired me so much that I attempted a self portrait on my wife’s laptop with touch pad. It does’nt have Zbrush which didn’t help. [We moved recently and I don’t have my workstation set up yet]
I think I’m going to wait for Zbrush 3 and unleash a plethera of red waxy things!
