Selecting multiple Zspheres?

Hi all!

I just want to quickly say what a great resource this forum is to a Zbrush noob like me.

I was wondering if there was anyway to select multiple Zspheres in order to transform them in the same direction as opposed to transforming using the symmetry controls?

Crank your focal shift way down, and your draw size up large enough to contain the spheres you want to move, then move one and it should also move any spheres that fall with in the influence of the move tool.

I have attached a zscript that shows what I’m trying to explain (sort of). I hope it is what you’re looking for.

Bill, perfect!

Thanks a lot. It so obvious, I feel like a bit of an idiot. Thanks for the quick zscript. This software’s amazing.

Also, you can mask the ones you don’t want to affect and then use the Offset deformation to move the rest.

Well, the reason that it came to mind is probably because I always forget to turn it down to 1 until I start accidentally moving zspheres around that I don’t intend to. :o

Thanks Aurick.

As long as I’m on the subject, is it possible to detach as sphere and re-attach to a different sphere?

Obviously, I could use a good dose of in depth “Sphereology” I’ve watched the default zsphere’s zscripts and read a VERY helpful thread on the basics of zspheres(that was incredibly informative) and even have watched Meats Meirer’s Gnomon “intro to Zspheres” tut (very helpful), but I would love to know more of the specific finer points about Zsphere cans and cannots. So any Sphereologists out there, please chime in.

in my signature is a worlds best link to some fantastic plugins that make zspheres even more mighty than they are…Digit’s and Tveyes both have tools that should be in any zbrushers zsphere toolbox. the links are all explained as to what each does so you can decide before ya click on em.

enjoy

Thanks much! My heads about to explode- all that info!!
