see what happens when you go to a users meeting

Man, you people really make me feel like a slacker. Every time it seems like I’ve got a handle on ZBrush, I figure out some new stuff that changes it all. I am at least steadily moving towards finishing a picture… I’m just making two very detailed people… And probably some background stuff.

It was great meeting everyone at the user’s group. One of these days I’ll have something to actually talk to you about, MonsterMaker, instead of basically just saying “Hi!” Somehow, the zillion questions I come up with just kinda vanish in person.

I’ve been lurking watching this one unfold. The other renders were so busy they overwhelmed my little peabrain and sent my eyes in many directions at once. Like I’d had way to much caffeine  This last one is different. I love it. I liked the others also but this one is great. :+1: Thanks so much for sharing.

great man !!
I love this style, it remind me of last year, when you posted your “life and death” images or “morning madness”! great as always  :+1:

Rick: Nice changes. I love how easy experimentation is in ZBrush. Like Photoshop on steroids. The changes you made have changed the whole dynamic of the piece. A print of that would be amazing.

Aby: Very nice effect. I like the way you showed all the different renders.

Ouch, that hurt Glenn. My brain can’t handle it. Oh so simple…yet complex. Nice work and thanks for the breakdown of the method behind the beauty. That is a lot of spheres!! Thanks again. Now I can go experiment.

Hey Monstermaker,

I had a bit of time to see your two paintings on CGTalk. I don’t promise it will be interesting to read, but I put some lines and thoughts about your “Broken” painting. The second one is as interesting as Broken, I’ll try to post about it one of these next days.

Good luck with your new ongoing piece.

Bye !

Davlin, Thanks for your poetic and insightful response to “Broken” I appreciate it. I curious to hear your thoughts on " road kill"

Hi Drummer, nice to hear from you, you are right it’s a lot like those old posts, those were really busy too.

Abyssis, the way I did the symmetry was after I composite the different renders, there were 3, I flattened the image in PS copied half of it pasted the copy and flipped it. in other words it wasn’t modeled symmetrical but made that way in PS

Blaine, Your right The first one is really busy and it is hard to focus on any one part but the longer you look at the more you see, or not. But don’t stare at it too long or you will go insane especially if you live in Alaska

Ok here is tonight’s after dinner installment. I think it helped that I had a bit of indigestion.

[font=Times New Roman]To late. I’m already in the final phase of [color=yellow]“Arctic Dementia”. Earlier today I actually tried to have a conversation with a raven that was throwing garbage out of my dumpster. He flew off and screamed at me. Do you think he was trying to tell me something?

We posted at the same time. I’d say that indigestion must be an inspiration for you. Looks great! I really like this one.:+1:

whoa…this certainly has evolved. looking better and better…Is that you stuck in the middle?
i think you should put out an art book…
