Really digging what you’ve done. Looks great.

Awesome indeed!

Agree that that the stylized approach you are doing will help you understand the boundries between muscles easier.
It is the classic approach afterall.

Gotta say, it really is a very nice one. If I understand correctly, you are going for the golden proportions aka superman, hero figure. Really nailed it.

Perhaps you could attach the upper part of the pectoralis major wider or a tad back on the clavicle. Seems like it was going a bit too far towards the center end.
Ofc, this may be something that comes when you make the skeleton w heroic proportions. But was only thing I could gleam.

Doing one of these as soon as I have time!

I like it!

Thanks Sébastien, laurie, daidda and Klaus.

Glad you like this stylized look a la Gil Kane.

Concerning the clavicular part of the pectoralis major, I checked and the connection is correct. I think it is the angle of the picture that makes this connection appear narrower than it actually is.

Batman WIP…

Nice batman bust.

Thanks Nicolás.

Reworked my ecorche to make it closer to John Byrne’s Superman (wider shoulders, bigger ribcage, bigger muscles and so on). Also added temporary head, hands and feet.

Best superman I have seen. Lol too that it is superman and not just muscles.

Thanks womball.

I really like the anatomy study! Really nice.

B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L-L !

Are you familiar with this?:

Maybe a way to make it usable for the public?

Love his hair, neck and shoulders!

Thanks Nick, Jake and Klaus.

Jake, I did not have any plans for the anatomic study but why not… Perhaps a 3D print or an app.

Green Lantern WIP. Trying a Gil Kane style.

This is super cool. Love the simplified anatomy study. Can you please post a side view of the echorché as well.

You have also been successfully able to capture Byrne’s anatomy in 3D. Looking forward to see more. Congrats!!

wow great showcase of anatomy and style as well!

Thanks Ruso and captkiro. And here is a better view of the ecorche…

I learn a little more everyday i go through the forums! this really is fantastic. do you have any traditional experience or straight to 3d?

Unfortunately I do not have any traditional clay sculpting experience. Maybe I’ll try it some day but, for now, I am concentrating on learning digital figure sculpting.
