Can anyone tell me how to project this panel into this wall seamlessly? It seems that the edges in red will not flow into this wall correctly. Instead I get a extruded panel.

…and maybe a pic of your results would help to illustrate what you ‘don’t’
want?
If I was trying it. I’d grab an alpha and draw with that. Then you can mess
with the alpha mid-point to control seams.

I want that panel inside the wall. But when I do try to attempt that with Zsub it’s goes inside the wall but it inverts the whole panels mesh. If I go Zadd it extrudes the panel from the wall like in the pic I uploaded. Get what i’m saying?
OK. Sounds like you already have an alpha.
In which case have you tried setting the ‘MidPoint’ slider under the alpha menu? It should control the depth of the mesh. It will be a bit hit-and-miss.
By default the mid-point is zero, which causes the alpha to lift only (assuming
ZAdd). You could start at 50% and then adjust up or down as required.
