I’m new to sculpting and zbrush so while watching some tutorials on the classroom, I’m trying to create my first character.
The main idea is to get an understanding of the workflow and process for creating a creature.
So far I’ve started with a sphere and used dynamesh to create this creature.
I mainly used the move brush for the overall shape.
The snake hook brush for the fins and the mouth tentacles.
Clay brush to add some shape in smaller places.
So far I have 24k polygons and dynamesh is at resolution 64.
The next step is to add some more definition around the eyes (I will add the eye balls later).
I also still need to add the gills. I tried but didn’t get a proper result. I believe I need to have higher resolution for that.
I’m also not sure where to put the gills. Probably slightly on the top as the base anatomy of the creature is designed so it can lay on the bottom.
Any tips are more then welcome.
