Sculptris Pro Brush Lag

Hi Everyone,

So I’ve been messing around with Sculptris Pro(like everybody else haha) and I love the tool but I get some major brush lag around 500,000 polys sometimes as early as 300,000 polys. It works normal when I turn off Combine and even better when I turn off Adaptive. I know that it’s a complicated tool that’s doing a hundred things at once, but I thought it should move a bit faster. I’d love to use it for detailing my models.

I’ve always been a huge fan of Dynamesh, because I can easily sculpt a 2 or 3 million poly model with Dynamesh still active, so I figure it must be a setting I have on Sculptris Pro or something that’s causing the lag. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I suppose dynamic subdivision is not on.
