Hey people,I need some help and advises,I’m new to zbrush but I’m great doing my sculpts but I want them for animation use,how do you clean up the model for animation? how do I sculpt the inner part of the mouth and stuff and use it for facial animations? can you link me to some ebook or tutorials? Head models with eyes, inner mouth…well these kind of models(ready for animation use) have any name? I’ve heard about blendshapes but I’m new to the topic, does it use different geometry, for example…I have a default head with no expressions,Do I need to sculpt the expressions and use it like some sort of morph target? How do I use blendshapes that just affect one part of the model like just the head? I want to achieve something like what the did with uncharted 4 character’s expressions with zbrush and maya…I have so many questions but I really need to get started right now, btw:sorry for my english.
If you’ve made a sculpt in z brush and want to animate it you have to make a lower res version of your model. You can use the z remesher for this.
Check out this tutorial on the z remesher.
