I m very new to zbrush … and m stuck with a thing, so far i sculpted only organic models like humans, animal, but now im trying to sculpt a vehicle .The problem when i tried to sub divide its getting deformed(smooth).
Let me list out my general doubts :
- what is the actual procedure to import a model in to zbrush from maya or any other app.
2.once we imported the model as obj or ma, what we have do in zbrush initially before subdividing?
3.people advised me to crease all the hard edges in maya for the vehicle to avoid deformations , and some told me to turn off smooth in zbrush before subdividing . so which is better or is there any other way .
