sculpt - workflow

something i been working on, sculpted in zbrush, textured in photoshop…
am trying to learn maya, and a workflow betwhen the programs, but god damn, its hard to figure out… kind of stuck with the UVlayout…

tell me if i on to somthing with this workflow:
1.make basemesh in maya, lay out the UV?
2.import the lowpoly mesh to zbrush - sculpt
3.save out a displacement in zbrush
4. lay the displacement on the lowpoly in maya(paint the texture on the uv in photoshop)
5.render

is this a useable workflow??

your workflow will work yes. Uv’s can be done either before, or after you sculpt though.

oh, cool, thanks, …just save out the lowest subD and send it to maya or UVlayout?
