This might sound like a stupid question but i’m a complete noob at zbrush…Do you sculpt in persp mode or without? I’m not sure which one to be using, Wouldn’t sculpting in one make the base mesh look completely different when you take it into another program like maya?
That’s actually why the ability to sculpt in perspective was added. If you’re using ZBrush together with an app that shows perspective in your viewports, then you’ll probably want to turn it on so that you can see the same thing in both apps. If you’re just using ZBrush by itself, or if your other app operates in orthagonal views, then you may want to leave perspective off. It’s mostly a matter of personal preference, but can also vary depending on the needs of the project.
