Screen refresh issues

ZBrush 3 has always had some horrible screen refresh issues when using
(for example) the move brush on low poly meshes.

Now 3.5R3 seems to have taken another step backwards in that regard.

Just moving the default PolySphere around on my screen after startup
is leaving ‘bits o’ sphere’ all over the display.

Scaling it shows the same problem.

Is there a ‘redraw screen’ key? If not can we get one?

(3.5R3 on XP + 4Gb + some kind of ATI Radeon)

when this was happening in r2 i found that using the hotkeys for moving and scaling (alt) would not make this happen, if you use any of the navigation buttons it would.
also ctrl+n clears the canvas.

wouldn’t that be a graphics card thing?

I’ll check the refresh on another machine (with diff’ graphics H/W) tonight.

OK. While this is 100% reproducible on my office machine (XP as above), everything things seem to be better on more up to date hardware…

My home machine (Vista-32 + nVidia 8800GT with 191.07 drivers) doesn’t
show the scale-drag update issue. :smiley:

The low-res mesh editing update problems remain the same on both
platforms. :cry:
