I did this snail recently and called her “Schnecki”. Her main purpose was to win a contest, but at the end she didnt even qualify for entry :o

Long ago i had serious thoughts of creating my own childrens books. Illustrating and writing the stories. Now i’m an old man of 53 , no kids of my own even. I truly enjoyed reading your post and i like the artwork. i think you oughta consider pursuing childrens books. Maybe you are. If so you certainly have my vote. This would likely be for ages up to 5 or 6. Course the BIG money is preteen and teenage years. Harry Potters author is now a billionaire ? eyow! Yes i watched everyone of them ! he he he ! take care and keep up the very nice work. rick w.

Rick: Many thanks for your encouraging words. I would love to do a small book, even if its only for personal purpose. Im still trying techniques in Zbrush to get a look im happy with. Lots of experiments (And of course ive read all Potters too!). Thanks!

Yeah actually Zspheres are pretty useful, i do most of my stuff with these in combination with a few edgeloops. And since I havent got any other 3d soft ill have to do it all in Z somehow, doh. Wish there was a bridge function though.
Anyway we had to do a fire overnight for Schnecki, because it was quite cold once the sun was gone.
Btw if anyone wants to show Schnecki more places, you can!
