Scaling issues ZB <> Max

Hi guys

Anyone know a workaround to this scaling issue I have, I would be very grateful.

Basically my sculpt has reduced in scale to the size of a doll, in comparison to its original size. I need to keep the original scale as I am rigging it in Max. The problem is that when I scale back up to the original size and re-import the low mesh - all the hi-res details in my sculpt are lost! Any work around?

I know why this has happened…I had to tweak the mesh in Max, and so the vertex order had changed. When I re-imported it, it asked if I wanted to re-project it (new to ZB 3.5 I think), this worked great I thought (an improvemnent over early versions of ZB where it wouldn’t let you import a changed mesh count.

But then later on I realised the scale reduction…damn! :confused:

I got it figured out, simple just fiddly. You have to scale it in Max, doubling the size till you get to the originals size, the last scale being a percentage. Make a note of this, then replicate this in ZB using the Scale deformation. (bearing in mind ZB can only double its size each time) It worked and I held onto the hi-res details. In all the time using ZB I have never had scaling issues, just with 3.5.
