I have some issues. And its breaking my balls. I need help.

My problem in short, I made my character in zbrush, and made the parts in maya, imported and sculpted around. When I was done, I did a retopo in zbrush. After that I exported my mesh out of zbrush and uvmapped it in uv layout. I then imported it back, now, this is when i got the scale import problems. And, i might add, Im using 3.1 right now. Anyway, after hours and hours of searching forums for answer, finding nothing, i simply scaled and moved it manually out of frustration.
As you can see in my picture now, I have a bunch of subtools over my uvmapped lowres mesh that i want to generate ontop of. So, How do I do this? I downloaded and installed subtool master and merged it all together, to get a single mesh to generate from, but it was too dense, ofcourse. Now im totally lost. And i need to complete this fast!
Please help me, I would be very glad.
