Hey, its me again. I’ve been recruited by my uncle to learn how to operate Zbrush and make jewelry for his company. He’s a mold maker and has all the machines used to generate figures of models in this program, I don’t know what they’re called but I’m sure you know what I’m talking about.
So, I have designs, flat drawings of rings layed out on the paper. If I wanted to import an image, rap it around a 3d ring in the program and work up from that by tracing with a brush, how would you do that? and can it even be done?
and also the scale: I have to scale the file to the right size before I can send it to the machine to create it. How to you measure from real life to inside the program and scale it to fit what the peice is intended for? say I wanted the sole of a shoe or a part of a wristwatch. how would I scale it?
thank you very much for you help, I really appreciate it. and so does my uncle. (:
