saving TransposeMaster data

hi,

I’ve been using TransposeMaster a little - is there any way I can save just the pose data, essentially building up a library of poses, including my ‘starter’ t-pose?

thanks

Yes, you can, though remember that you can’t transfer poses to models with different topology/subtools.

Make sure you are using the latest version of Transpose Master for ZBrush 4R3. This version (released in April this year) uses a new format which is more efficient.

Once you have created the combined mesh (the mesh created by TM for posing) you can save it by clicking the TPoseMesh button again. When the combined mesh is selected, pressing this button gives you the option to save the pose. Save using the special TM format GoT. (Two files will actually be stored, a .GoT file and a .dax file. TM needs both these.)

To load a saved pose back in:

  1. Make sure that the original model with SubTools is selected and in edit mode
  2. Click on the TPose>SubT button and choose the Load File from Disk option
  3. Navigate to where you stored the .GoT file and press ok

thats great. thanks very much marcus
