When Zbrush starts I usually set the intensity levels to say… the smooth brush down to 25, the standard brush down to 20 etc. How can I save these settings so Zbrush remembers them every time it starts?
Thanks

What you can do is save the brush and load it later, or create a macro of yourself getting to the settings you want. That macro will load when ZBrush launches, and you can assign a hotkey to it so that you can then immediately press a key to get to the default settings that you prefer.
In fact, here’s another thread with almost exactly the same name, which was posted just yesterday: http://www.zbrushcentral.com/zbc/showthread.php?t=56111
Thanks… the auto load macro idea seemed the best (macros are like actions in PS yeah?), but I seem to be having trouble making it work? I go to new macro
, change my brush settings, end macro
, save it in \ZBRUSH\ZStartup\Macros, but when I re-start zbrush the macro doesn’t seem to have auto loaded? What am I doing wrong?
it autoloads into the interface macro menu, it doesnt run, to do that you must press it, you can move it to a more convient place in you UI or assign a hotkey to it.
The macro doesn’t seem to load into the interface on startup for me to press it? I give it a name of more than 8 characters and I get a txt doc and a PSD doc… strange as the other macros in the folder are txt and ZSC docs, and they load?
edit: save to seperate folder, not just the macro folder! Sorry for being silly :o , these macros should a lot of help, thanks!
