Save Displacement/Depth Map from 2.5D Illustration?

I’ve been searching all over the place to see if there is a way to save the depth/Displacement map from a 2.5D illustration as it’s the only information I’ll need for a project. I plan to use the 2.5D illustration capabilities of Zbrush for a specific use and can’t seem to find a way to do this. Is it possible?

Yes, you can use the GrabDoc button in the Alpha palette>Transfer section (at the bottom). This will create a new alpha in the Alpha palette, which you can then export. The Alpha Depth Factor slider may be useful, depending on what you are doing.

Also, this plugin, which converts a 2.5D canvas into a displaced plane, might be of interest:

Awesome! Thanks! I knew there had to be a way. I’ll try it out and see how well it works.
