Save canvas background and shadow/light setting?

Hi guys, I alwasy feel canvas background and objects in ZB3 are too dark… anybody feel the same? It looks good, but in some situation is not so convenient, especially when the area I need to sculpt is in the shadow, I can’t recognized the surface clearly. Besides, the darker tone of ZB3 makes the inconsistency with other app when export (with texture map) after Polypainting.

So, I want a bright tone of working environment, I change the canvas background color in Document menu (there is a button called “back”), and disable the shadow of object in the Render menu.

Much better now, but my questions are:

(1)How to make the tone of the object (means any polymesh in the canvas) brighter? where to increase it?

(2)Most importantly, how to save those changes (canvas back/shadows/object tone) and make them default, and show everytime I restart ZB3?

thanks for any help.

covers it

Another suggestion, As for the mesh, I usually use the “fast shader” next to the flat shader material under the materials tab, the shadows aren’t as intense and the light stays in the center of the model.
…or you can tweak the shading information under Materials< Modifiers…if that helps?

Thank you guys, your reply really help me, I got it!!
