Really nice character Santis
SICK! you really have a good understanding of anatomy, good exaggeration in your pieces, keep it up the good work.
Man, this “little fella” is amazing! Love the forms.
I hope someday I’ll have the skills to just play around with anatomy like that.
jimmyLev: Thanks man, really glad you like it!
artsymptom: Very appreciated!
FatherO: Thanks a lot man
I think the most important thing is to not think about the anatomy to much in the first stage, when still blocking out. Let that be a later problem, when you are happy with the overall proportion and feel
So, I have borrowed a 3D-printer from a guy on a Swedish forum, and made this to print and hang on my wall. Will see how much detail it can handle
C+c is always welcome
Nice,I like the loose quality of the face.
Hope to see it printed and painted(?) soon.
And hands and feet of the last one are great.
Keep it up,J.
Thanks!
Will try to get it printed asap, and painting it would be really cool actually
Forgot to mention, it’s all dyna
(not a bump, just an informative picture ;))
Very nice, that should make for a cool print!
And thanks for the advice. I’m in the middle of a full on study right now, but when its “done” I’ll definitely be trying to apply my new knowledge in some wacky ways.
Thanks you, I hope so!
Good luck with your study:) Looking forward to seeing you experimenting
That’s very well sculpted Santis!
I also wonder, how much a 3d printer can handle form all this.
One for sure, it will be easy for you to make excellent plaster copies after. (rubber)
Or better, clay copies-ceramic. Some patina and … voilà
Thank you michalis!
Yeah, that would be awesome! I have a feeling it would be very expensive tough
I have seen so many well done and beautiful Zbrush women on here lately, and realised I almost never sculpt something female, so, since I have such a great taste in women figured I should probably give it a shot
Hope you like her as much as I do
hahah… great piece. you sure have a great taste in woman… errrhhh
