Using ZModeler to revise topology is a good idea!
Your combination of past and preset ZBrush features is purely creative.
Fascinating piece, your dragon. to the cool breakdowns!
*Just checked out your Gumroad page. Great stuff.
Thanks so much!
ANNOUNCEMENT - Dragons Workshop BUNDLE - promo!
I’m taking the How to Make Your Dragon Workshop in a new direction. Instead of releasing each video as I go, I’m just going to release the COMPLETE Bundle on Gumroad and Selz now where you basically pay and sign up for all future videos. I’m estimating this thing will take about 20-30 hours to finish the way I want. I’m going to obviously cover everything involved with ZBrush sculpting, but also polypainting, posing, and rendering for portfolio. I’ll probably do that in Vray or Marmoset (I don’t use Keyshot in my pipe currently).
Every new video I release will be added back into the bundle and you’ll get email notifications of that new release. Plus all of the videos will be available in one click instead of having to buy each of them separately.
For those of you who’ve already bought one or ALL the current videos for the Dragons Workshop, I’ve got a promo code coming to you via email that’ll give you 10% off. For all others interested, I’ve got a Launch Promo that gives the FIRST 20 people 10% off as well.
This bundle includes Part 7: Head Sculpting where I get into the real ZBrush action building up the head secondary forms further.

Selz (Paypal option) - http://selz.co/1d1GeyY
Thanks so much for your interest and I promise to make this Dragon super awesome and I hope you join in the fun and share with your friends. I really appreciate it!
Thanks,
Jesse
Interested in your training but have a question…
Do the training videos have subtitles / closed captioning?
Captioning is often overlooked in video tutorials and can be a real show stopper for someone trying to learn. Specifically when it cant be understood what is being said and don’t have captioning to fall back on to figure it out.
Hey bp72 - glad to hear you’re interested! Unfortunately, I’m not very knowledgeable on CC. Maybe I’ll look into it at some point.
I just added Part 8: Head Sculpting to both Gumroad and Selz - also included in the Complete Bundle

For whatever reason, I’ve forgotten to update this thread with the Dragons Workshop videos I’ve been releasing. If you haven’t checked it out yet, I’m getting further into the detailing stages of the beast now. I’ve just about finished the head and neck and we’ll be moving into the main body this next week. I release a new video about every week or so. At this point, I’m just updating the Complete Bundle, which is a one-time purchase of $35 (very reasonable for how many hours of real-time tutorials I’m putting out for this. Maybe a little TOO reasonable! )

Just purchased the series on Gumroad. Looking forward to learning from you. Thanks for the time and effort you are dedicating to these tutorials. Keep up the great work Jesse!
I wanted to pay with Paypal but when returning to the gumroad page I cannot click the pay button.
Payment is not accepted.
Please see that things work.
Hi Erik,
First of all, thanks for your interest in the workshop! Paypal should be working fine as plenty of other people have had no problem getting paypal to work on the site. I just went through the motions myself to see what would happen and it worked fine. I assume you hovered over the Paypal button after clicking on the I Want This button? It looks grayed out until you hover over. I have no control over Paypal settings in Gumroad either. It’s just available by default now. Let me know if you get it to work on your end as everything should be fine on my side.
