Samurai_Takeda`s sketchbook

Hello everybody!
After about 1,5-2 months of studying Zbrush and watching a lot of video tutorials, I decided to do something on my own. :slight_smile:
So here is my very first experience with sculpting in ZBrush. I hope you’ll like it :slight_smile:

I did this peace using standard, move, clay, claybuildup, dem_standard brushes from Dynamesh sphere. And there are some tweaking in photoshop after BPR render.
I would like to hear some constructive critique, your remarks.

You said you didnt use maya right? I’m curious as to how you got those hairs on their, i remember reading something about some sort of alpha or something that would make hairs like that, but im not sure, Thanks!

You are right, all done in ZBrush without Maya, 3DSMax etc. Those hairs are just a few layered fibermesh. Different layer for each part (beard, main hair, eyebrows, eyelashes).
