Maybe it’s the lack of symmetry in the face or the way you model/paint the eyes. I’m not sure what it is, exactly, but your portraits all have a very subtle lifelike quality. It’s absolutely amazing. It feels like I’m looking at a photograph. I’d be eager to see you render these models in an external program like VRay or Mental Ray.
