Rotating a body part

Hi,

I can’t figure out how to rotate the arms and hands of a figure I made. I originally made this in Sculptris so I didn’t create this figure using the ZSphere’s so no built in armature to move stuff as needed. I want to see if I could make this into a poseable figure eventually to be used in other render programs but the hands are not in the “palms facing down” position and I really want to twist or rotate the forearms.

Any advice on how to achieve my desires?

Thanks kindly

Richard

You’ll probably want to look into transpose master as well.

Now are those the Draw, Move, Scale and Rotate tools your referring too?? I tried to use the rotation tool and that was a complete bust. I’m sure I’m doing something wrong. I’ve always struggled getting my head around some of the tools in ZBrush!

Heya Ram, try investigating using a zsphere rig for posing meshes. Easy to use, and less destuctive then the transpose tools on thier own.

Thanks but the figure is already modeled so I don’t know if I can add a rig to it. Is there a way to do that??

Yes, you can add a zsphere rig after it is modeled. Check out the zbrush tutorials on pixologics main site under rigging.

Hmm, thanks, will do!

Do you have a direct link available? I’ve searched around and can’t find anything specific to what you mentioned.

Thanks!
