Model created in Hexagon, Z rig pose and render in Carrara. I find it difficult to paint texture like this in Zbrush or repetitive patterns that can be control than aligning strokes that cant join.

There must be some workflow for creating this entirely inside Zbrush. Anyone?

Tiliable map at 512x512, I hope there will be a Zscript like Zfabric with precision alignment and a way to draw path on model surface, it is logical to expect it from a 3D software than a 2D paint program especially in pixol mode.

Even if you can model the spiral thread, the map must be tiled rather than a huge map. So, only a small section is created and fit the texture map before duplicate into a long stretch or roll.
A zscript or some sort of procedural shader would be amazing from something like this as you basically say, a normal image texture doesn’t like to align/tile well on a model such as this.
