Roll modifier still affecting stroke even after it is shut off, requires brush reset

I have noticed that after using the roll modifier, and then turning it off, my alpha becomes distorted even though roll is off.

In the example below the top row is alpha 28 with lazy mouse freehand stroke.
In the middle row I have turned off the lazy moused and used the alpha with the roll modifier.
For the bottom row I have turned off the roll modifier and turned on lazy mouse on again and now there is distortion in the alpha.

In order to get rid of this distortion I have to reset all brushes. Is this a bug? or am I causing this some how?

I have 8gb ram using win 10
Thanks

Thanks for that, Susan. I’d not noticed this before. The Roll Distance slider affects the stroke whether the Roll button is on or off (but the effect differs). You need to set the Roll Dist to 1 for the slider to have no effect.

HTH,

Thanks Marcus, yep that’s it. Since you turned me on to macros, I made a reset to 1 macro button preset to put next to the slider.
